From humble beginnings, Francis and Charlie Higa founded Zippy’s on South King Street in 1966. Throughout 2026, Zippy’s will celebrate its 60th anniversary as Hawaii’s third place and go-to for comfort food with a release of its own line of merchandise, limited-time menu offers, and collaborations featuring local Hawaii businesses to commemorate the significant milestone.
