Q: How does Zipster Rewards work?

Zipster Rewards members earn 10 Zipcoins for every dollar spent at Zippy’s. You can save up Zipcoins to get free Zippy’s food.

Q: Why doesn’t Zipster Rewards have a senior discount?

You still receive a discount with Zipster Rewards. Instead of 10% off, your discount happens when you use Zipcoins for free Zippy’s food.  The Zipster Rewards program is free.

Q: What is a Zipster?

That’s what we call our customers. Zipster Rewards was put together to thank you for being such a big part of Zippy’s.

Q: Is Zipster Rewards free? Can anyone sign up?

Yes, Zipster Rewards is a free program.

Q: Do I have to use my phone? Is this on the internet? I don't have a computer.

The best way to participate is through our smartphone app or our website. If that’s not possible, members can participate in the program just like at Longs or CVS – by sharing their phone number when they arrive at our restaurant or placing a takeout order.

However, you will have to sign up for Zipster Rewards online. You will also need our new app in order to use your $100 Food Credit if you selected it as your gift.

Q: I have a caregiver. How will that work with Zipster Rewards?

Your caregiver can place and pick up orders on your behalf, as long as you allow them to use your Zipster Rewards account. You will earn the points when you are logged into your account when ordering online. If your caregiver places an order at the fast food counter, they can also present your Zipster Rewards email or phone number so that you can earn points. We are sorry, but only one person can earn the Zipcoins – whichever account is logged in or presented at the time of ordering is who will get the Zipcoins.

Q: Will there be special offers just for seniors within the loyalty program in the future?

We are looking into offering special offers specifically for seniors. So please be sure to include your birthdate when you sign up.

Q: Why are you ending the Senior Club?

We’re getting ready to launch a new rewards program on August 8th called Zipster Rewards. This new FREE program is replacing the Senior Club. Zipster Rewards gives you Zipcoins each time you eat at Zippy’s. You can then redeem Zipcoins for free Zippy’s food.

Q: How long will my discount card be valid?

We will continue to accept Senior Discount cards and temporary cards through August 7, 2022.

Q: Can I use my card if it expires? I can't renew, but I want to use my discount.

If your card expires at any point in July or August of 2022 you will receive your discount.

Q: Why can’t I keep my discount until it expires?

Our new rewards program offers a similar benefit to your current discount, except instead of getting 10% off you’ll earn free food. And, this program is free to join. We’re unable to maintain both of these programs at the same time so we’re offering a special gift to former Senior Club members when the program ends. You can continue to use your discount through August 7, 2022.

Q: I just renewed my card last month. Why didn't you tell me about this then?

Please accept our sincere apologies. We are happy that you renewed your card and you can continue to benefit from the 10% off each transaction through August 7th. In addition to that, you can also choose between a $100 food credit or a $20 refund. We weren’t ready to inform you at the time of your renewal, but we hope that your choice of gift makes up for the inconvenience.

Q: How are you going to make up for this?

We understand that this may be an unexpected and unwelcome change. We will be giving you the option to select from two different gifts as a thank you for being a part of the Senior Club program.

Q: What are the gifts?

Senior Club members may select one of two different thank you gifts.  We prefer that you join our new Zipster Rewards program. If you do join the program, we will welcome you with a $100 food credit in your account after you complete the signup process. Senior Club members must have card expiration dates of July 5, 2022 or later to be eligible for this gift.  If you decide that you do not want to participate in our new rewards program, you may request a $20 Senior Club fee refund check. To be eligible for the check, your Senior Club card must have an expiration date of August 8, 2022 or later.  You must make a selection by December 31, 2022 to be eligible to receive either gift.

Q: What do I need to do in order to get the $100 food credit?

You will need to sign up for Zipster Rewards through our app. You can download the app on the Apple App Store if you have an iPhone or through the Google Play Store if you have an Android phone.

When you sign up you will need to include your senior club membership number.

You will then need to present the food credit on your smartphone in store, or you can use it when placing an order in the app. Please note that the $100 food credit expires on 12/31/23.

Q: How do I request my $20 check?

Mailers were sent to all active Senior Club members that contain a check request form for you to fill out and mail to us using the enclosed return envelope. Alternatively, you can scroll to the bottom of this page to fill out a virtual form and submit your request. You must request your check by December 31, 2022.

Q: What happens if I request the $20 check, but decide to join Zipster Rewards later?

Former Senior Club members may only choose one option: either the $100 food credit or the $20 fee refund, but not both. If you request a refund and decide at a later date to join Zipster Rewards, we will be happy to welcome you to the program! However, you will not be eligible for the $100 food credit.

Q: How long after requesting my $20 check can I expect to receive it in the mail?

Please allow 2-3 weeks for your $20 refund check to arrive.

Q: How long after signing up for Zipster Rewards can I expect to receive my $100 food credit?

Your $100 credit will be available in your mobile app immediately after you complete the signup process. You must input your Senior Club Membership number in the signup form to ensure the credit is applied to your account.

Q: When does the $100 food credit expire?

You will be able to use your food credit until 12/31/23. At that point any remaining balance will zero out.

Q: What if I change my mind about my gift selection?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to make changes to gifts once they’ve been selected. 

Q: I signed up for the Senior Club and added my spouse to the membership. Can we both receive the gift?

If you were signed up for the Senior Club as a member with a spouse card, with an expiration date that is eligible for our gift, then yes, you can both receive a gift. And, each of you can make your own selection! For example, one spouse may choose a $100 food credit, while the other requests a $20 Senior Club fee refund. Again, check your expiration date to see which of the two gifts each of you are eligible for. 

Q: I want to sign up for Zipster Rewards, but my spouse does not. Can we do that?

Yes. Spouses have their own individual accounts with our Senior Club Program and will have to sign up individually for their own Zipster Rewards accounts. Each spouse is welcome to choose from either of our thank you gifts.

Q: How do I find the app?

Search for “Zippy’s” in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. You may have to scroll down in the results to find the app. Please make sure that you’re downloading the app titled “Zippy’s” with the Zippy’s logo.

Q: How do I sign up?

You can create a Zipster Rewards account using Zippy’s mobile app (available on iPhone and Android) or by visiting Zippys.com.

Q: How do I earn my FREE regular Chili Rice?

You will be awarded a free regular Chili Rice after your first purchase as a Zipster Rewards member. The reward will automatically be added to your Zipster Rewards account within 24 hours of your first order.

Q: What do I do if I forget my password? What if my password Doesn't work?

You can reset your password by going to the sign in screen the app of when ordering on Zippy’s.com.

If you’re in the app, go to the login screen, enter your password and click “Reset Password”. You’ll receive an email in a few minutes to create a new password.

If you’re ordering online, click on sign in, enter your email address and click “Forgot Password”. You’ll receive an email in a few minutes to create a new password.
