ZIPPY’S RESTAURANTS SAYS MAHALO TO MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS
FOR NURSES DAY AND MAHALO MAY WITH OVER 1300 MEALS

Zippy’s Restaurants provides meals to medical professionals throughout the state to celebrate Nurses’ Day and Zippy’s Mahalo May. Zippy’s is saying thank you to those who keep our communities safe and healthy, by serving meals to medical professionals on Oahu, Maui, Hawaii Island, and Lanai.

With support from its sister-company, A Catered Experience (ACE), Zippy’s is feeding over 1300 medical professionals at the vaccination clinics and select departments at Queen’s Health Systems, Hawaii Pacific Health, Kaiser Permanente, Kuakini Hospital, Shriner’s Hospital, Maui Health, and Hilo Medical Center.

We’re humbled and grateful to have the opportunity to say mahalo in the best way we know, by sharing a delicious meal, with those who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe and healthy. We also encourage everyone in Hawaii to get a vaccine. We each have to do our part to protect our communities.

Kokua Pac

Zippy’s is selling Kokua Pacs throughout the month at all locations. A portion of the proceeds from each Kokua Pac will be used to provide meals to a rotating list of nursing wards, vaccination clinic workers, and other healthcare professionals that have been critical in keeping Hawaii healthy.

About Zippy’s Restaurants

Francis and Charles Higa founded Zippy’s Restaurants more than fifty-three years ago on South King Street in urban Honolulu. With twenty-two locations across Oahu, Maui and Hawaii Island, Zippy’s has grown to be a beloved island institution. Zippy’s is a unique three-in-one concept: locations are a combination of fast casual takeout service; a casual full-service dining restaurant; and a convenient retail bakery. Many Zippy’s locations are open 24-hours a day, serving the comfort foods of Hawaii in a family-friendly atmosphere.
